Giving Tuesday

December 2, 2025

1 Day, 1 Community, 3X The Impact:
This Giving Tuesday, change everything for one community, forever.

The Opportunity

1 day

Giving Tuesday is an annual celebration of charitable giving on the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving, falling on Tuesday, December 2nd for 2025.

Every Giving Tuesday, Water4 celebrates with a challenge: to forever change the lives of families across Africa with the collective generosity of our community in just 1 day.

1 Community

Last year, the challenge was to fund safe water at home for 5 families . This year, we're going much bigger: introducing the community of Gbongbondouri (Bon-Bon-Du-Ri)!

Gbongbondouri is a community in Northern Ghana home to 3,867 people. Currently, they rely on 4 semi-functional hand pumps to provide their water and it's dramatically draining their time, affecting their health, and limiting their opportunities.

We can bring NUMA treated, piped water home to Gbongbondouri for $129,244.

3X The Impact

But today, you have the opportunity to 3X your impact! Thanks to The Paul Milburn Gift Fund's ongoing match through year's end and a privately secured donor match for Giving Tuesday, we only need to raise $43,081 to fully fund safe water for Gbongbondouri!

Click below to give today, 3X your impact, and help us raise $43,081! Then, we'll celebrate safe water flowing at homes in Gbongbondouri 30 days or less!

Gbongbondouri

Northern Ghana

Gbongbonduori is a vibrant farming community that’s home to 3,867 people who are just one solution away from thriving: access to safe water. With NUMA, a new reality is just 30 days away. In implementing one NUMA water system, the community gains convenient, reliable, treated piped water forever. Health outcomes and quality of life would improve, and women and children would gain three hours a day back, creating a foundation for economic growth and allowing Gbongbonduori to thrive.
